Mark's House

As a child, I used to sit in the screened sunroom of my parent's Virginia home and read sun-bleached, rain-spattered copies of Architectural Digest - dreaming of the beautiful homes and of the people who inhabited them. So it was a dream-come-true when the magazine featured my own residence on its cover so many years later. Built in 1924, I totally remodeled the 1400 square foot English cottage located in the Hancock Park area of Los Angeles. Combining pieces of Asian and French antiques with pieces from my own furniture collection that I design for Mimi London, Inc. and contemporary art make for a clean, uncluttered, convivial space to call home.
