This powerful, modern, structure perching on the edge of a desert cliff is protected on all sides by a nature conservancy. Vast views and a cool, sandy palette informed the interiors. Furnishings were "sculpted", organic materials and soft textures were selected to create balance between the house, its interiors and its stark environment. As the client often entertains, the house can dramatically open to the large terraces and pool, blurring the interior and exterior "rooms". Architecture by Guy Dreier
