Colorado Retreat

Built on a 15,000 acre ranch, the project was a ground-up endeavor. Celebrating the endless views and abundant wildlife, the house is sited with focal points to the staggering peaks beyond. Custom, comfortable, sculptural mohair sofas designed to mimic the incredible boulders spilling from the fireplace anchor the living room. Antique Navajo textiles, artifacts and use of sculptural, organic mineral specimens were the natural choices to round out the interior design. Architecture by John Knudson AIA
